Living with the Filtered Shower System — Nickel

Hard-treated municipal water passes through a central cartridge before reaching either outlet, stripping out up to 99.47 percent of free available chlorine across fifteen hundred gallons of use. The nickel-finished assembly brings together an adjustable rain head, a detachable wand, and a built-in diverter into a single connected fixture that mounts directly to standard bathroom pipework without specialized tools.

A three-way valve directs flow to the overhead head for broad vertical coverage, routes it down the flexible hose for focused washing and tub maintenance, or runs both outlets concurrently. Replacing the internal cartridge requires only twisting off a side cap, keeping the entire plumbing structure intact on the wall while restoring filtration capacity.

What makes it work

Shared inline filtration

One replaceable cartridge cleans water before the diverter, reducing chlorine by up to 99.47 percent for fifteen hundred gallons across both spray heads.

Three-way flow diversion

Directs water to the overhead rain fixture, the flexible handheld sprayer, or both heads simultaneously to match daily routines.

Eight-pattern rain head

The overhead unit adjusts on a pivot ball and features seven distinct spray flows alongside a dedicated water-saving setting.

Nine-pattern handheld wand

Offers seven face sprays, a water-saving mode, and a concentrated top jet spray suited for washing fixtures and rinsing shower walls.

Adhesive handheld bracket

A no-drill mounting bracket relies on combined suction and adhesive backing to secure the wand to smooth, flat shower surfaces.

Owner’s notes

  1. Twist off the side access cap to swap the internal filter cartridge; the main fixture body remains mounted to the shower arm during changes.
  2. Ensure the mounting tile is clean, completely dry, and smooth before pressing the adhesive and suction holder into place.
  3. Run water through the handheld wand top jet into the drain for a brief period before directing it onto bathroom surfaces.
