Living with the Magnetic Rain Shower System — Chrome

Polished chrome hardware brings a clean, reflective presence to the stall while solving the daily friction of shared bathrooms. The setup centers on a wide overhead shower head suspended from an extension arm, delivering vertical downpour coverage directly from above rather than at an awkward angle. A front-facing three-way diverter valve routes water to the overhead unit, the handheld wand, or both simultaneously without requiring awkward reaches behind the spray.

The accompanying handheld unit docks into place with a magnetic connection, doing away with wall adhesives and fragile brackets. It links to a 304 stainless steel hose and switches between eight distinct spray patterns, ranging from wide rinse modes to a focused power wash stream suited for rinsing tub corners and tiled walls.

What makes it work

Magnetic docking wand

The handheld sprayer attaches and releases from its mount via a magnetic catch, avoiding wall glue and mechanical clips.

Three water routing modes

A front-facing diverter switches flow between the overhead rainfall head, the handheld unit, or both outlets together.

Eight handheld spray patterns

The wand provides eight selectable water settings, including wide rinse patterns and a concentrated power wash spray.

Overhead extension arm

The included extension pipe positions the wide rectangular rainfall head outward for a direct overhead angle.

Standard pipe connection

The system connects to common plumbing using standard half-inch fittings and a 304 stainless steel hose.

Owner’s notes

  1. Check that the rubber sealing washers are seated squarely inside the half-inch connectors before threading onto the supply pipe.
  2. Wipe the polished chrome surfaces with a soft damp cloth to clear mineral spots without scratching the reflective finish.
  3. Guide the handheld unit close to the receiver until the magnetic catch seats fully before letting go.
